These terms are short on purpose. QuickAi is a lightweight extension that connects your browser to an AI provider you choose — using your own key. By installing the extension or using this site, you agree to the terms below.
By checking the acceptance box on this site, installing the QuickAi browser extension, or otherwise using either, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't install or use QuickAi.
QuickAi is a browser extension that lets you highlight text on any webpage, or summarize the active tab, and receive an AI-generated summary, explanation, or extracted insight. It works by sending your selected content directly from your browser to an AI provider you configure, using an API key you supply. This website exists to explain, demo, and distribute the extension.
QuickAi is a paid, self-serve tool, available as a one-time purchase (see Section 4). There is no QuickAi account system — beyond that one-time purchase, your ongoing relationship for AI usage/billing purposes is with the AI provider you choose, not with us.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the QuickAi extension for its intended purpose. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer for competitive purposes, or redistribute the extension as your own product without permission.
QuickAi is sold as a one-time purchase that grants you the lifetime license described in Section 3 — there is no recurring QuickAi subscription. Payment is processed entirely outside of QuickAi and this website, through a third-party storefront. We do not operate our own checkout or payment system and never collect, see, or store your card or billing details ourselves; that information is handled solely by the storefront processing your purchase, under its own terms.
Any purchase-related matters — refunds, receipts, failed payments, chargebacks — are governed by that storefront's policies, not by these Terms. This one-time purchase price is separate from, and unrelated to, any usage costs billed to you by the AI provider you connect, as described in Section 5.
To use QuickAi you must supply your own valid API key for a supported provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter) or run a local Ollama instance. You are solely responsible for:

You retain all rights to the text you select or the pages you summarize. Because that content is sent straight to your chosen AI provider without passing through any QuickAi-operated server, we have no custody of it, make no claim to it, and cannot recover or moderate it after the fact — the provider's handling of that content is governed by their own terms, not ours.
QuickAi is a client for services we don't operate. We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy, safety, or output of any third-party AI provider, or for changes they make to their pricing, models, or terms. Your use of each provider is subject to that provider's own agreement with you.
QuickAi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. AI-generated summaries and insights can be incomplete or inaccurate — don't rely on them for decisions where accuracy is critical (medical, legal, financial, or safety-related) without independently verifying the source content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuickAi and its developer(s) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension or this site, including your one-time purchase price, costs billed by a third-party AI provider, or reliance on an AI-generated output.
You can stop using QuickAi at any time by removing your API key or uninstalling the extension. We may discontinue or modify the extension or this site at any time; because there's no server-side account, "termination" on our end simply means the software may stop being maintained or distributed. Stopping use of QuickAi does not entitle you to a refund of your one-time purchase, except as required by the storefront's own refund policy or applicable law.
We may update these terms as QuickAi evolves. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above, and returning visitors to this site may be asked to re-review and re-accept before continuing.
